Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic awarded “TOP 20” Legal Entities
The Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic together with the General Financial Directorate arranged the 12th ceremonial announcement of TOP 20 legal entities, which the most significantly contributed to the national budget in 2013, on 29th May 2014.
Representatives of the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic and the Financial Administration of the Czech Republic met with delegates of the legal entities in the premises of the Břevnov Monastery. Each “TOP legal entity” took over the award – glass plaque – from hands of the Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic, Mr. Andrej Babiš and the Deputy Director General of the Financial Administration of the Czech Republic, Mr. Jiří Žežulka.
The chart of awarded companies was compiled according to the amount of payments on account of the corporate income tax in the course of 2013.
“Contribution of these twenty awarded companies to the national budget represents 25 percent of the total revenue of corporate income tax,” said Mr. Jiří Žežulka, the Deputy Director General of the Financial Administration of the Czech Republic.
List of TOP 100 the most significant taxpayers of the corporate income tax for 2013 is published on the website of the Financial Administration of the Czech Republic www.financnisprava.cz. The published list is sorted in descending order according to the amount of paid taxes; namely are stated only the taxpayers who agreed with their publication.
