Diesel oil in amount of CZK 12 million secured due to tax evasion suspicion
The General Financial Directorate, the Specialized Tax Office and the Customs Administration secured 20 tankers with diesel oil during the week starting on Monday 5th November 2012.
It was the first extensive control action, where the new established Unit of Mobile Performance and Specific Activities from the Specialized Tax Office took part. The control action was aimed at fuel transport from abroad; the tax inspectors checked the correctness of all information in the documents. In a few cases the names of persons suspected of VAT evasion were detected. Therefore the transported fuel was in those cases secured by the Czech Tax Administration.
