Signature application of the Czech Financial Administration

The ePodpisFS application is designed to create an electronic signature in the Tax Portal of the Financial Administration. To create an electronic signature using the ePodpisFS application, it is necessary to have a qualified electronic certificate issued by a certification authority. The application can be run on the following operating systems:

• Microsoft Windows 7 and higher (x32 or x64)
• Mac OS X 10.15 Catalinaa and above
• Linux Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS and higher (x64)

The ePodpisFS application can be used in current versions of commonly used Internet browsers. A simple and intuitive installation of the ePodpisFS application takes only a few minutes and consists of two steps - downloading the installation package and starting the installation.

Web extension

If the ePodpisFS application is used in the internal network, the user may be prompted to install a web extension. This web extension mediates communication between the ePodpisFS application and the MOJE daně website. You can install it by downloading the extension from the official app store of your internet browser.

Verify the functionality of the application

To verify that the ePodpisFS application is installed correctly, run the application. In OS Windows, it can be started by clicking on the START button, ePodpisFS folder, option “Spustit aplikaci ePodpisFS” (start ePodpisFS application). The application verifies the network availability of the website MOJE daně and checks the availability of a qualified certificate in the operating system store.

How does the eSignatureFS application work?

When you need to use the ePodpisFS application to sign an electronic submission on the MOJE daně website by using a qualified certificate, the ePodpisFS application will be initiated. For the ePodpisFS application to work properly, it is necessary to allow the application to run in an Internet browser. After initiating the ePodpisFS application, it is necessary to choose the location of the qualified certificate.
